We picked our inserts to work with our silky velveteen and plush pastel covers. Our inserts have a smooth finish and no "pokey feathers" or lumps that you can get with down or dry fiber fills. The outside is covered in a slick polyester fiber but they aren't an airplane/cheap pillow! They are super soft and full and have the structure required to show off your Pillow Candy.
